Please read these terms carefully before using the ISSAB platform or enrolling in any certification programme.

By accessing or using the ISSAB platform (issab.org), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the platform.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Axiona FZE, Registered in UAE, which operates the ISSAB website and its certification programmes ("ISSAB", "we", "our", or "us").
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use this platform. By registering, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
To access ISSAB programmes, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete personal information. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of your account details.
ISSAB offers self-paced online certification programmes across five belt levels. Access to course content is granted as follows:
Once access is granted, course content remains available to you for the lifetime of your account, unless the purchase is refunded under our Refund Policy. ISSAB may periodically update course content to reflect current best practices and standards. Such updates do not constitute a new or different product.
Examinations are a required component of all ISSAB certification programmes. The following conditions apply:
Upon successful completion of all programme requirements, ISSAB will issue a digital certificate in PDF format. Each certificate includes a unique verification ID that can be verified at issab.org.
A qualifying improvement project is a real-world process improvement project that you personally completed, as its leader or in a substantial role, that followed a structured Lean Six Sigma method (such as DMAIC), and whose results were measured with data.
Certificates may also be issued through an access code provided by ISSAB. The revocation terms in these Terms apply to them in the same way.
Black Belt and Master Black Belt certificates are issued automatically when you pass the examination; there is no project review before a certificate is issued. After issuance, ISSAB may select a small random sample of certificate holders and ask them to provide evidence of their declared projects (for example a project charter, data analysis and before-and-after results). A selected holder will be contacted by e-mail and given 30 days to respond. The audit is an integrity measure; it is not a service you purchase and is not part of the fees you pay. If you cannot provide satisfactory evidence, ISSAB may revoke the certificate under the Revocation section below.
ISSAB certifications are valid for the lifetime of the certificate holder. There are no renewal fees, recertification examinations, or continuing education requirements.
ISSAB reserves the right to revoke any certification if it is determined that the certificate was obtained through fraud, cheating, plagiarism or misrepresentation (including a false project declaration), or in breach of these Terms. ISSAB may also revoke a certificate if the holder, when selected for an audit, does not provide satisfactory evidence of the declared projects within the time allowed. Revocation takes effect immediately. ISSAB will notify the certificate holder in writing, and the holder may appeal by contacting support@issab.org. If an appeal succeeds, the certification will be reinstated. While a certification is revoked, the public verification service shows it as revoked with the date of revocation, and the certificate cannot be downloaded.
All content on the ISSAB platform — including but not limited to course materials, video lessons, PDF documents, examination questions, the ISSAB name, logo, and branding — is the intellectual property of ISSAB and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
All prices are displayed on the ISSAB website in United States Dollars (USD). The following pricing applies at the time of publication:
ISSAB reserves the right to change pricing at any time. Students who have already purchased a programme will not be affected by subsequent price changes.
You may request a refund within 14 days of your purchase by writing to support@issab.org. A refund is available if, since that purchase, you have not opened the course materials, started an exam, or received a certificate for any paid belt level included in it. Once you do any of these, the purchase is non-refundable. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, and access to the belt levels included in the refunded purchase ends. We may refuse a refund where there is evidence of fraud or abuse. Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.
By using the ISSAB platform, you agree to the following standards of conduct:
Violations of these standards may result in immediate account suspension, certification revocation, and permanent exclusion from all ISSAB programmes.
ISSAB provides certification based on demonstrated competency through examinations and, for Black Belt and Master Black Belt, a declaration of completed real-world projects. Please note the following:
ISSAB collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, email address, examination results, and certification records.
By using the platform, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We encourage you to read the Privacy Policy in full.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
Your continued use of the Platform following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international commercial law and best practices for online services.
In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform, we encourage you to first contact us at support@issab.org so that we may attempt to resolve the matter informally.
If an informal resolution is not possible, the dispute shall be referred to mediation or an appropriate alternative dispute resolution process before any further action is taken.
